Guardians are among the main individuals in the lives of young children. From birth, the child starts learning and majorly depends on their parents, as well as different guardians acting in the nurturing role, to secure and take care of them and to outline a direction that advances their general prosperity.

Nurturing or raising a child advances and supports the physical, emotional, social, spiritual, and mental development of a child from infancy to adulthood. The initial step is to comprehend that the obligation of educating the child doesn't simply lie with their school. A youngster's education begins at home, and guardians are their first educators.

Guardians play a vital role in shaping a child's character, habits, emotional development, and so forth. Guardians play a crucial role in a youngster's overall development. Nurturing is a steadily evolving process that isn't simply limited to providing the essential, supportive needs of the child. A good parent also provides a base necessary for the development of the mental and interactive skills required for success in school and beyond.

Having a strong moral base can have a massive effect on your child's ability to make the right choices later on. Without sound moral values, they may probably make numerous poor or bad choices that won't allow them to live to their maximum potential.

Numerous things in today's society can be extremely harmful to a child's virtues. For that reason, it is significant as a parent to seize every opportunity to show your child the importance of having strong virtues. For example, parents allowing their small children to use mobile devices just to make them calm. In such cases, some alternatives could be used, like play activities, music therapy, showing birds and trees, and so on, so that the child does not become accustomed to such gadgets. It is disheartening to observe that during school years, students have a high frequency of screen time. As kids mimic their parents and caregivers, it’s important for them to reduce their screen time in front of their children.

As parents, waking up earlier, doing yoga and exercise, and prioritizing taking care of their mental and physical health will motivate children. Hence, it is easier to build a child than to repair him/her during adulthood.

Parents must become role models for their children to follow, helping the child with schoolwork, creating a conducive learning environment at home, and being themselves good, caring, and loving children to their parents, as children watch and learn from their parents. They should teach children from childhood to respect people of any age, respect and take care of the environment and animals, and respect and care for their partner. Parents should opt for peace rather than irreverent fights in front of children, creating an environment where the child approaches them during bad times rather than seeking an outsider.

Supporting kind imperfections, listening to their children rather than simply hearing, understanding the child's pain in any situation, avoiding numerous judgments for the child, not underestimating the child’s talent, trying to be the first counsellor for the child, and teaching them to love and respect aging are all vital. They must accept the fact that finance and huge capital are not the only prime aspects of life to achieve; other moral angles are equally important for the refinement of life.

Creating high expectations for children to carry the baggage of parents’ happiness creates high pressure on the child’s mental health. It is important to accept the child’s imperfections and allow the child to visualize the world from his/her own eyes.

It is known that being a parent also requires a lot of sacrifice. According to our knowledge and experience, imparting the best and most important values to our children and making them good human beings—especially enabling them to live a peaceful life—must be our concern.
